Tea Time! Sun Tea to Help Fight Summer Fatigue

The recent heat has us feeling pretty exhausted - which means it's time to make our anti-fatigue sun tea! This is my favorite blend for keeping me energized through the Summer. Here's a recipe for 1/2 gallon of sun tea:

2 TBSP Jasmine Green Tea Pearls
1 TBSP Gotu Kola Leaf
1 TBSP Gingko Leaf
1 TSP Powdered Astragalus (or 1-2 slices of root)
5 Thin slices of fresh Ginger Root
1/2 Lemon, sliced
Honey to taste

Put all ingredients except lemon slices and honey into a reusable cotton tea bag. Tie tight and place into the bottom of your glass infusing vessel. Add cool water and top with lemon slices. Alternatively, add all ingredients loose and strain before drinking. Leave in the sun for at least 6 hours. Add honey while warm to dissolve, then chill before drinking.
